I grew up in New York State. My family is from the Chautauqua/ Jamestown area which is where my story began. We then relocated to the Hudson River/ Newburgh region. In the mid-80's we moved to the western edge of the Adirondacks where we lived and ran a ski lodge of the foot of the Tug Hill Plateau. Following high school I attend and graduated from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. My first professional radio gig was at 96.9 WOUR in Utica/ Rome, New York. After that I became the Assistant Program Director at 99.1 The Sound, WVOD on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There I also programmed a Top 40 station along with my duties at WVOD. In 2006, I moved to Charlottesville, Virginia. First, I help build WCNR. Then in 2009, I started my job with WNRN. Over the years I have transformed my role at the station where I have been the Assistant Program Director since 2013.
